Wonderful water and centenary trees surroundings

Caravaca de la Cruz is situated in the north-west of Murcia. It has several communal protected areas, which includes, the Mojantes mountains, figure obtained thanks to the presence of the lion vulture, and also as a great communal and botanic interest we have la Cuerda de la Serreta and Sierra del Gavilán (other mountain areas) once again thanks to the well-maintained native pine-holm oak tree hills.
We must also mention that very near the town centre there is a beautiful and historic natural park called “Fuentes del Marques” which translates the Marquis’ Fountains. This magical mixture of wild nature and clear water is beautifully preserved and stands out especially by its most characteristic flora in Caravaca.
